Materialism is one of those ugly words that gets thrown around a lot and it sounds horrible, being categorized as materialistic person, with reactions like ‘I am not materialistic person’..uff!! Regardless of how much or why, we are always wanting things and in astrology we give a reason for this. You are looking for marriage, or having problems in marriage or maybe it is money, look how planet Venus is placed and influenced in your chart.

Okay, now the big celestial news- planet Venus will retrograde from July 25 to September 6. What does this mean to you and me?? All things that are assigned to planet Venus in its portfolio will go weak. This is typically a challenging time for all relationships, especially romantic ones. Since Venus rules beauty, astrologically this is not the best time (that is starting from 25^th July through September 6!) to bring any big changes to your looks. It is astrologically not recommended to make any dramatic changes to your appearance, such as to get different hair color or cut your hair in a very different style. As there is a possibility that you may not like or enjoy the results. Please don’t get me wrong, you can schedule routine hair trims and so forth, that is you can go for your regular the tried-and-tested beauty treatments but not anything new and dramatic. Now, here I would also like to add, these days men are equally conscious about their looks (some men esp. Taurus/Libran ruled by planet Venus may spend more time styling than women), so this planetary tide is also for them. Men, if you were thinking of shaving your beard or growing one, do it before 25^th July or wait until 6^th September.

When Venus is retrograde, it is also not best time for getting married. However, your ex or someone you loved or liked could come back while Venus is in reverse; such is the nature of ‘love in times of retrograde Venus’!
