ENJOY AND CELEBRATE
LIFE WHATEVER IT GIVES YOU.
All, yes ALL, people have
two motivations in life, one: to fulfill their ambitions and desires and second:
to escape their suffering and we only vary in degree or method, and these depends
on our upbringing and our experiences in life, as well as our state of
consciousness and these two motivations are probably the center of all great
religions and spiritual traditions.
The past or the future,
both only exist as thoughts, in the present. But we kill our present by
thinking about our past or the future. I tell every
person who comes to me for astrological reading that I simply can Read your
chart but I do not have the power to change your life and astro-remedies only
help you change yourself, and how you treat life and may be indirectly it changes
situations and life also….Quality of life is determined by how you deal with
your present moments, not which moments happen and which don’t.
Life is nothing but
passing experiences, and our thoughts just evolve from things we experience. Oh!
I know I am being too philosophical….It is so natural or normal pattern in
life, to encounter an undesirable situation, after all, who hasn’t dealt with
such situations in life, who??? Simply there is NO ONE on this planet who has
not had to deal with undesirable situation. Who would want to fall ill, lose
job or lose someone whom they loved, simply nobody, but still in life these
things happen. If you will yourself, then there is nothing to fear with adversity
whenever it does show up and that is how one can make his/her life better. God
has sent us on earth with our manual, as lines on our palm, to make our life
better with understanding. We are not to create victim identity in our mind
whenever crisis strikes in our life.
We all should try, yes
TRY, to live a happy life with the cards that life has given. Nobody can deal
with the past or future, because, both only exist as thoughts, in the present. Maybe,
that is why Vedic astrology is based primarily on Moon, the mind. But we can
kill ourselves trying and it’s amazing how we try to grasp control of every circumstance
to try to make sure we get exactly what we want but it is for sure, I can say
with 100% surety, we will never ever accumulate power over our circumstances. Yes,
it is good to have belief in oneself that through our persistence and hard work
we can accomplish anything we desire in life, actually nowadays this is the
most promoted thought… but can we ALWAYS get what we want or desire in life?
Most of life is
imaginary. We are nearly always thinking. As Mark Twain said: “I’ve been through some terrible things in
my life, some of which actually happened.” what he means is that only very
small percentage of things actually happen as we imagined.
So what is that formula
for peace and happiness in life? In my perception, this is my own personal view
about it but you can share your views on this as well, First: that suffering does not necessarily mean life
is going wrong, so the degree to which you suffer is ultimately up to you, and
Secondly: that all problems have limited span, thirdly: your unfulfilled
desires is the root cause of these suffering, as written in Bhagwat Gita, do what you can do in any given situation, may
be read more personal development books, blogs, articles or look for people to
help you with their own insights but in the end, if you are an adult then no
one is coming to save you. You have to take responsibility for your own life
and what happens in it. Things may always not go your way and you will probably
have bad luck or adverse period from time to time. But you still have to focus
on yourself. You believe that events, things or people make you unhappy, but
this is not exactly true, YOU make YOURSELF unhappy. YOU control YOU. YOU can
manifest negative people and situations, with your karma and by appreciating
the positive.
Buddhist Quote: Do
not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the
present moment.
