Capricorn (December 22 - January 19 )

Capricorn, the tenth Sign of the Zodiac, and is ruled by planet Saturn. Capricorn being ruled by dark planet Saturn is one of the most reliable and serious of all the zodiac signs. Capricorns are both ambitious and career minded but Saturn, the task master being the ruler, nothing comes easily to them they have to strive hard against the current of destiny. Capricorns are practical and worldly wise, taking things as they come and as realistic as possible.

The symbol for Capricorns is The Goat. Goats diligently climb to the top of the mountain for green grass and fresh air. In much the same way, Capricorns want to get to the top of their chosen field to reap the fruits of their hardships. Nothing comes easily to them hence pessimism and unhappiness. So don’t be surprised to see many Capricorns in waiting-rooms for astrological or psychotherapist counseling.  

Capricorn governs the teeth, knees, bones and other defects of the legs. They are prone to arthritis as they grow in years and to depression for Capricorns tend to suppress emotions. 

The color of choice for Capricorn is black.

Birthstone is blue sapphire.
