General Characteristics of Sagittarius Sun Sign:

Sagittarius, the ninth Sign of the Zodiac, is the sign of the Archer, the half man and half beast flinging arrows. In ancient Roman mythology they were the intellectuals and the truth-seekers. They have this eternal unquenchable thirst for philosophy of life and religion. They like to follow beliefs about God rather than God Himself.

Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the planet of expansion and growth. They are strong-willed and good at organizing. They need lot of room to explore and if they feel hemmed in stagnant jobs or relationships, they'll become impatient and difficult. Sagittarius likes it when others agree with their well-thought-out point of view otherwise are easy to flare up over trifles.  Pressures of the modern day may bog them down but still it is the big picture most of life that really interests them.
