Oh, God! Why??

Oh, God why?
Today, all over the world there is a furious debate over the existence of God. The number of non-believers is increasing and this can have serious implications in times to come. Why? Think if we assume, there is ‘No God’. Persons with selfish and mean intention can get away doing mean and morally wrong things to another simple person without any fear of divine retribution.  Please note, I am not even talking about criminals who can do horrifying crimes and think they can deceive law through their clever and scheming devious minds.
We want answers to questions: why countries are at war? Why people suffer? Yes, we need answers to these questions but by denouncing God will we find answers? By denouncing God, we, in other words, put our faith in mortal ‘human minds/beings’. Now, that can have serious implications. Why? Because human beings by nature are selfish, yes, it is TRUE, though we don’t want to think bad about ourselves. We ALL have supreme belief ‘I am the best’ then why am I not given wealth/power/name that we deserve? Then comes the justifications, oaky I sometimes do wrong things but then I am a mere human being only, right? No, wrong.
If we replace God by rationalists/scientists/humanitarians, there can still be serious problems, why? Power, control and money go straight to head and twist the minds and thinking. And please this is the reason for War and not God?  We want to put blame of all crimes and war on God, why is he letting this happen? We want HIM (God) to account for OUR crimes.  If, something goes wrong our lives we want to ask God, why is he doing this? but we don’t want to believe  maybe we are somewhere doing something wrong. Remember Karma Theory.
A theory, as an explanation to inhuman behavior in human beings, was suggested to me by someone I would like to share: We (human beings) are causing imbalance in nature by killing animals etc. As a result, number of human beings is increasing and number of animals is decreasing. As per Hindu belief, we get human body after crossing 84 lakh yonis ( 1 lakh=0.1 million, yonis=births)  and this is ‘unidirectional’ meaning as we move upward in evolution pyramid that is once taken birth as human being we cannot be animal in next. But now, supposing, number of animals is falling but soul has not come higher in spiritual/enlightenment evolution process but still takes birth as human being but their behavior may not be human. Recent crimes, be it crime committed by a deranged man in elementary school in USA or recent rape case in India, such souls are very low in spiritual evolution and cannot be compared with any animal behavior. To control crime spiritual enlightenment and understanding is very important. Faith and belief in God is important.
By disturbing ecological balance of nature we are asking for trouble (tsunami and floods like Sandy). We have faulty assumption in domination of mankind and belief that ‘Man’ is the greatest of all existence on this planet Earth. Actually, in reality ‘Man’ is only a part of this nature and its cycle. We should have respect for Nature and life forms and should not give undue importance to human mind that one day it destroys all life forms on this planet Earth (nuclear war etc).
Religion and God is not easy to be replaced for the good of the mankind. Religion is a way to be a better human being or is necessary for spiritual enlightenment/evolution. Have faith and for non-believers --you may call this faith ‘God’!
