Background 

[Book ‘Eat, Pray, love’ written by American author Elizabeth Gilbert is a modern woman on a quest, she steps uncharacteristically out of her comfort zone, risking everything to change her life and in the process rediscovers and reconnects with her true inner self . She spent four months in Italy, ‘eat’ing and enjoying life, three months in India, ‘pray’ing connecting with her spiritual self and ended the year in Indonesia when she fell in "love". The book remained on The New York Times Best Seller list for 187 weeks. The movie rights for the memoir were purchased by Columbia Pictures and which stars actress Julia Roberts and actor Javier Bardem. ]

In the video, that I have uploaded on my blog, the American author Elizabeth Gilbert, describes what makes a person go from ordinary to extraordinary, how divine element in life helps you excel in life. This video is so close to my own belief that I thought of sharing. How that one singer sings many songs but only one song, just takes him many many steps above others, and the same logic applies for everything else in life. It is affirmed in the concept of the divine in various religions, be it Christians, Muslims, Sikhs, or other traditions. Most of Hindu scriptures where saints, rishis and sages have often stated that they were given downloads of information from higher states of consciousness after meditating or being in the presence of a more conscious individual……amazing, isn’t it??

As we trust and have faith in higher powers of divinity, our intuition more often grows stronger and we break our own personal limitations. But good karma, that is to be a good human being or should I say a person with good intentions, is and will always remain one basic requirement to connect with divine powers. One divine intervention can transform your life from ORDINARY to EXTRAORDINARY, from FAILURE to SUCCESS….

September 2014 monthly forecast; SAGITTARIUS-PISCES

SAGITTARIUS:

From 1^st through 13^th, planets urge you to read, learn, expand and travel. It is possible, on or dates close to 8^th, you may receive some important news via text, email or on your cell phone another possibility is that you may send an important email/ make an important call and wait with bated breath, phew! For your career, 3 months starting from 24^th, will be one of the most important period of this year. The seeds you sow during this period will give amazing productive results. Maybe, you want to begin a new business venture, new project, write a book, or apply for new position, whatever is your intention planets will assist you in your endeavor. If you are related to television or movie business, you can make fame more of a priority too. For all Sagittarius, these 3 months starting from 24^th, are best days of the year so make the most of it. Don’t wait for things to come to you, initiate the process and then let destiny hold your hand!!

 CAPRICORN:

Your ruling planet, Saturn, is now packing its bag to shift to the next sign. Last almost 3 years, may have been stressful and you had to work hard to prove your worth. Saturn was in difficult angle to your domestic life too. Even in the happiest of couples, disagreements are common but then Capricorn’s that’s what makes the relationships strong. Aquarius, you may feel an intense desire to bring change in your everyday life. Aquarius is an adventurous sign of the zodiac, restrictive or dull routine may not go too well with you.

 LEO:

From 1^st through 8^th, is an ideal time to begin something new and gives you a fresh start to make important progress over the next five months. It is a time to reinvent yourself and this may also be reflected outwardly in some personal way, such as with a new hairstyle, new style of dressing or may be manner of expressing and presenting yourself. You may even focus on changing personal habits and may be lifestyle in ways to improve your confidence in yourself. From 5^th and all of this month and also first 10 days of the next month, you may think of house repairs, re-decorating, or family activities. In fact, you may also feel very restless or moody. You may also encounter opposition from some people at work working up about old angers from the past. From 8^th through 15^th, love relationships will be especially strong now. Money matters, from 16^th September through 30^th of October, will be at the forefront of your mind. Maybe, maybe only, so Leo, cross your fingers, money may add in your bank account and increment is also on line.  Another possibility, you may cut down on your unnecessary expenditures and this may you’re your bank balance look healthy!!

VIRGO:

The planetary tide from 1^st through 10^th, gives you a chance to dive deeper into self and do some kind of soul-searching to resolve old hurts, a kind of spiritual healing to begin a new chapter of your life. Again, from 1^st September through 30^th October (a long period!), will be a very busy period. This will be best time of the year for you for promotion, sales or may be giving interviews or preparing for competitive exams. You may be especially busy running errands and communicating with others through emails, phone and also internet. However, I would like to warn you, there is a possibility of some heated discussions that may escalate into arguments. There will be so much going on in your life, you may more clients, projects, etc that you may find 24 hours a day less to complete your tasks, wow! One chapter of your life is nearing an end and September-October are perhaps the last so maybe it is best to be physically FIT, get your routine checkups and make lifestyle changes. From November, Saturn too will move away from difficult sector of your solar chart, so double wow!!

LIBRA:

Libra, from 1^st September through 31^st October, your money and bank balance is ‘charged’ sector of your solar chart. So much that to others you may seem ‘money obsessed’. This is a time when impulse buying may also be at a peak. You probably should avoid using too much debit or credit, simply because you may spend more than you intended to. As I said, your money and bank balance sector is ‘charged’ I don’t mean just outflow but this can also be a very resourceful time, when you can make and save money the most. It could be a period when you have desire to prove, primarily to yourself, increasing your financial net-worth (don’t deny it, this act does well for your inner confidence) and to others also using money and possessions as the means to do so. From 1^st through 10^th, your desires to serve and help others and you may also increase your networking. In your work, this is perfect time, to establish contacts because from last week of this month that is from 24^th, you will work in seclusion, with extreme focus on future career advancement plans. From 6^th through 12^th, some pent-up emotions could burst out, possibly you feel so emotional, and this is not only connected with work, it could be your love relations or something to do with your children. From 24^th September through 20^th October, you will switch to ‘reclusive’ mode probably surrender yourself to the almighty, in way Libra’s you need this, why? SCORPIOS:

Fiery Mars, charges you with energy from 5^th September through 18^th October, Wow! Scorpio’s, you begin a very important cycle of change for betterment from now. Nothing happens in a day but series of events will help you climb up. This is a phase when you will be busy with career and also personal responsibilities. Now, your career looks promising, so make a list of what you desire in your career, yes a ‘list’ a real list, not random wishes and think what all you are doing (or not doing) to achieve your career goals. This is very important because planets are so wonderfully aligned, anything is possible in next ten months from now but you need to do ‘karma’  with pure conscious and when you're driven by pure intention, you can be certain of a beneficial outcome. However, avoid being pushy, you must take charge of your life, but don't bulldoze over others by your assertiveness and physical vitality. From 1^st through 12^th, the need to be connected with your home and your inner self will also be strong, though career obligations and demands may not be easy to push. From 25^th September through 23^rd October, networking, meeting or collaborating will be high but you may also party more and meet your family and friends, it will be so enjoyable!!

September 2014 monthly forecast; ARIES-CANCER

ARIES:

Your ruling planet, Mars, will be shift to next sign on 4^th. The first 8 days of this month planets give you a boost to begin health and fitness plan, you may perhaps join a gym, yoga class or may get necessary check-ups. If you are suffering from any chronic health ailment it is time to see your physician. Alternatively, you could clear out your file cabinets or rearrange storage cabinets. Buying new clothes could also be on your list (this sounds good!) From 6^th through 15^th, is a time when you recognize that you need financial management and for this you may need help or support of others. Technology is highlighted, so for your work you may need to get a new App, or probably launch a website, blog or online marketing and if you are employed, you may look for fresh openings online. You may have some burdensome loan, debt, bills or mortgage to worry about this month. The division of property, assets and inheritance could also be on top of your throughout this month.

TAURUS:

Your ruling planet, Venus, this month in its tour may challenge your will power and patience only to make you a strong person. Adversaries at work may suffer from ego conflicts or maybe you have some conflicts with your spouse. Taurus, is a person with immense inner stability, whenever differences arise you will be quick to settle it. The first 7 days of the month, you will concentrate on things that bring you inner happiness and may be need this rest time to heal your inner self. Happy Couples--Married or in a love relationship

In my work, I meet many people, it is these people, who open their hearts with their problems, the most common problems being the ‘relationship problems’ whether marital or otherwise, and in the process teach me a priceless lesson too. Although, I sincerely hope you are enjoying a healthy happy relationship, and if your relationships are all stars, rainbows and butterflies right now, and you are in a happy mode, consider yourself lucky, let this blog provide some good food for thought to sustain but if you are going through some relationship stress (as we all do sometimes), chances are the problem can be traced back to one or a few causes. 

The tips below may come in handy…

1. “Expectations” about how someone should be.

“A gift is pure when it is given from the heart to the right person at the right time and at the right place, and when we expect nothing in return” – The Bhagvada Gita, Hindu Scripture.

How should your partner look like??--Angeline Jolie, Aishwarya Rai, Hrithik Roshan, Brad Pitt, mmm…but of course, you don’t give looks too much importance, you expect your partner to be a nice human being, right??? The biggest disappointments in life and in relationships are the result of misplaced expectations. Unrealistic expectations of how someone should be or how a relationship should be can be a source of unnecessary frustration in life. By nature, while manufacturing, there is a flaw in ALL of us, ( we never think this about ourselves though), we are all a work in progress. Truthfully, the less you expect from someone you care about, the happier your relationship with them will be.  Expectations can be one of the biggest reason of fall in a relationship. No one in our lives will act exactly as you wish, hope or expect them to, ever, believe it this is true. They are different from ‘you’ and will not understand or respond like you expect them to.

2. Self-Transformation

Truly, the only control we have in this world is the power over ourselves, and the only thing we can do is- ‘self-transformation’. Don’t control relationships, how your loved ones should or should not live, is their life, allow them to make their own mistakes and their own decisions. Life is much too short, so why waste? If you want to enjoy happy relationship, start by living a life that makes you happy and if you to eliminate suffering in a relationship, start by eliminating the negative parts of yourself. Supposing, you are in a difficult marriage or love relationship, sometimes you have to be kind to someone. It takes some courage, though. You never lose by loving but you may lose by holding back. Do not underestimate the power of a smile, a kind word, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn life happy. Remember, even the healthiest relationships have unhappy moments or situations. Instead of constantly looking for signs of what’s not working in your relationship, what you need to do is look for signs of what is actually working. So, before you move forward in life away from someone you love dearly, make sure, you have done enough—self-transformation. Being too right about the quality and health of a relationship spells trouble. Of course, failed relationships hurt, but losing someone who doesn’t appreciate and respect you, no matter what you do, is actually a life lesson.  Some people come into your life temporarily simply to teach you something and they come and go but in the process make a difference. 

 3. Good relationships are easy or destined?

Good marriage or happy love relationships, even for that matter friend, are never easy but require sacrifice, adjustments and compromise, a lot of it. Accept the fact that there will always be difficult moments, as relationships require lot of effort and patience but you can still focus on the Good.  

4. Lack of communications

Great communication is the key to a great relationship. If you have deep discontent or resentment at heart, you must communicate, talk it out, rather than letting the discontentment grow.  If you are feeling angry, may be jealous, you must communicate in an open honest manner and address issues and must get them out of your head and into the open so you and your loved one can work it out.

5. Lies, may be little small lies

There is perhaps no phenomenon that is more destructive to a relationship than telling lies, however small or little, seemingly innocent, lies eventually snowball into larger issues and add up. If you will lie to the people around you, not only will you hurt and deceive them, you will also hurt and deceive yourself – you will forget your own truth. Initially, telling truth and only truth will seem difficult but later on in life, whatever you will say will BECOME TRUTH, yes your words will become prophetic, amazing na. Lies destroy trust, the most important cementing factor in marriage and love relationship.

Okay, so I have written 5 points above for happy and loving relationship, but you may share your views and experiences too. I think, it takes commitment and lot of effort to sustain a relationship and healthy relationships are great accomplishments in life. Whatsay???
